Every month we host an art exhibition in our main studio as well as a virtual sale showcasing local artists. Keep an eye out for our “call for art” & join us for opening exhibition nights with live music & wine bar.
Our Story
6th Street Studios & Art Center started under Gallery 1202 in 2019, providing South County with cultural performances, and artist opportunities. In 2021, 6th Street Studios & Art Center became an official non-profit and opened it’s doors, providing affordable studio, exhibition and marketplace opportunities. The Studios has organized over 20 free public art events, including the monthly Art Walk, Art Markets, and exhibitions. In 2022, the Studios has launched it's educational programming, starting with their first Spring Break Art Camp, followed by youth and adult art classes, and a Summer Camp. We have established our Youth Mentorship program in 2022, thanks to a generous grant from the Gilroy Foundation, and look forward to expanding this program into 2023.
